Disturbance - Around 2:55am on Saturday, Police attended a reported disturbance at Southampton Rangers Sports Club. Details about what occurred remain unclear; however one of the security personnel, a 22 year old Southampton man, received a laceration to his bottom lip. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Assault

Around 11:10pm on Friday, Police received a report of an assault at a Happy Valley Road, Pembroke residence (near the junction with Deepdale Road West). It appears that a dispute took place between several men who are known to each other at the premises and then a physical altercation took place between two of the men, with one of the men brandishing a bladed article. As a result a 32 year old Paget man sustained a laceration to the head; he was treated at KEMH and released. The suspect, a 38 year old Pembroke man, was arrested and the bladed article seized; however, the victim declined to make a formal complaint regarding the matter and requested no further Police action. The suspect was subsequently released.
