Damage Only RTC - Around 8:25pm on Wednesday, Police attended a reported damage only road traffic collision on Harbour Road in Paget near the junction with Valley Road involving a van and a car. It appears that the car was traveling west on Harbour Road and the van was traveling in the opposite direction when the vehicles collided. The driver of the car, a 50 year old Warwick man and the driver of the van, a 28 year old Smith’s parish man were not injured; however both vehicles received extensive front end damage. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Damage Only RTC/Impaired Driving

Around 5:40pm on Wednesday, Police attended a reported damage only road traffic collision on North Shore Road in Hamilton parish near the junction with Sunnyview Drive involving two cars. It appears that one car was traveling east on North Shore Road and the other car was traveling in the opposite direction when the vehicles collided as the eastbound vehicle attempted to turn into Bethel AME Church. The driver of the eastbound car, a 51 year old Hamilton parish man and the driver of the westbound car, a 21 year old Hamilton parish man were not injured; however, the driver of the westbound car was subsequently arrested on suspicion of impaired driving and detained after failing the alco-analyser test. The eastbound car received extensive rear end damage while the westbound car received extensive front end damage. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Burglary

Around 2:30pm on Wednesday, Police received a report of a burglary at a Paddock Lane, Warwick residence. Details are unclear at this time; however it appears that an unknown culprit or culprits gained entry into the home and stole two flat screen TVs and a quantity of jewelry. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Around 6pm on Tuesday, Police received a report of a burglary at a Warwick Lane, Warwick residence. The complainants stated that sometime between 7:50am and 5:45pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into their home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a HP laptop computer, a quantity of cash and personal items. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
