Damage Only RTC - Around 12:15am today, Police attended a reported single vehicle damage only road traffic collision on Middle Road in Southampton near Five Star Island. It appears that a car was traveling west on Middle Road when the driver, an 18 year old Warwick man, lost control and collided with a wall and a roadside wooden railing. The driver was not injured; however the car received extensive front end damage.
Around 4:15am on Saturday, Police attended a reported single vehicle damage only road traffic collision on Knapton Hill in Smith’s parish near the junction with Cherry Dale. It appears that an SUV was traveling east on Knapton Hill when the driver, a 41 year old St. George’s man, lost control and collided with a wall. The driver was not injured; however the SUV received extensive front end damage. The wall was also extensively damaged.
Burglary
At 8am on Saturday, Police received a report of a burglary at a Lighthouse Road, Southampton residence. The complainant stated that sometime between 10pm on Friday and 7:30am on Saturday, an unknown culprit gained entry into her home. The culprit stole a quantity of cash and personal items. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
At 6:30pm on Friday, Police received a report of a burglary at a White Sands Road, Paget residence. The complainants stated that sometime between 8:30am and 6:20pm that day, an unknown culprit or culprits gained entry into their home while it was unoccupied. The culprit(s) stole a black 42” Panasonic flat screen TV and a red Nikon digital camera. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
Around 5:30pm on Friday, Police received a report of a burglary at a Railway Trail, Paget residence. The complainants stated that sometime between 7:30am and 5:30pm that day, an unknown culprit or culprits gained entry into their home while it was unoccupied. The culprit(s) stole a black 42” Sony flat screen TV and a quantity of cash. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
