Injury RTC - Around 3:45am today, Police attended a reported single vehicle road traffic collision resulting in injury on Crow Lane in Paget near the junction with Corkscrew Hill. It appears that an auxiliary cycle was traveling east on Crow Lane when the rider, a 34 year old Smith’s parish woman lost control, collided with the sidewalk and fell to the ground. The victim sustained a laceration to her forehead; however, her injury is not believed to be life threatening. She was taken to KEMH via ambulance for treatment. The cycle was not damaged. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Around 3:10pm on Wednesday, Police attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury on Southcote Road in Paget, near the junction with Ord Road. It appears that a motorcycle was traveling south on Southcote Road and another motorcycle was traveling in the opposite direction when the vehicles collided. The rider of the motorcycle traveling in the opposite direction did not stop. The rider of the southbound motorcycle, a 24 year old Pembroke woman, sustained injuries to her arms and legs. She was taken to KEMH via ambulance for treatment. The rider of the other cycle is described as a dark skinned male of medium build; he was believed to be riding a cream coloured ‘Sym’ motorcycle. Inquiries into this incident are underway. Police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with any information to contact PC Bernadette Lawrence on 295-0011.

Burglary

Around 7:25pm on Wednesday, Police received a report of a burglary at a Wilson Place, Sandy’s parish residence. The complainant stated that sometime between 9am and 5pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into her home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a gold coloured ladies watch. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Missing Juvenile – Troylene Anderson

Around 9am Friday, June 12th there was a reported sighting of ‘missing juvenile’ 16 year old Troylene Anderson at the bus terminal in the City of Hamilton. She was described as wearing a dark coloured short sleeved top, black Capri pants and sunglasses with a short hairstyle. The teenager is known to frequent the Pembroke area and is light brown skinned, 5’5” tall, weighing around 186 pounds with black hair; she also has a muffler burn on her right leg above the ankle. Police are continuing to appeal for anyone with any information on the whereabouts of 16 year old Troylene Anderson to contact the Child Victims Unit on 295-0011.
