Disturbance - Around 9:40pm on Wednesday, Police attended a reported disturbance at Albouy’s Point in the City of Hamilton. It appears that a few young men were involved in a physical altercation at that location; however on arrival there was no disturbance taking place. Officers spoke with the victim, a 19 year old Warwick man, who stated that he was assaulted about the body by two men. The suspects, a 23 year old Pembroke man and a 21 year old Devonshire man, were subsequently located on Front Street and arrested in connection with the incident. Inquiries are underway.

Injury RTC

Around 9:45am on Wednesday, Police attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury at the junction of North Shore Road and Palmetto Road in Devonshire involving two cars. It appears that one car was traveling east on Palmetto Road and the other car was traveling west on North Shore Road when the vehicles collided attempting to negotiate the round-a-bout at the junction. The driver of the eastbound car, an 81 year old Devonshire man, complained of chest pains while his female rear seat passenger complained of pain to her neck and right hand. The driver of the westbound car, a 29 year old Pembroke woman, complained of pain to her neck. All three individuals were taken to KEMH via ambulance for treatment. The drivers of both vehicles were treated and released; while the passenger of the eastbound car remains at the hospital. The eastbound car received extensive damage to its side and the westbound car received moderate front end damage. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Missing Juvenile

The Bermuda Police Service is continuing to appeal for the public’s assistance in locating 16 year old Troylene Anderson. The teenager was last seen around 10:30pm on Thursday, May 21st 2009 in the Smith’s parish area. She is described as light brown skinned, 5’5” tall of thick build weighing approximately 186 pounds with black hair. Troylene Anderson was last seen wearing black jean pants, a black hooded jacket and a pink shirt. She also has a muffler burn on her right leg above the ankle. The teenager is known to frequent the Pembroke area and has been in contact with family recently. Police are appealing for anyone with any information on the whereabouts of 16 year old Troylene Anderson to contact the Child Victims Unit on 295-0011.
