Injury RTC - Around 11:45am on Tuesday, Police attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury on Middle Road in Sandy’s parish near the Somerset Bridge Post Office. It appears that a car and a van were parked next to each other at the rear of the post office. As the driver of the car, a 70 year old Sandy’s parish woman, drove away from the parking area she collided with the front of the parked van before losing control and colliding with a wall opposite the entrance to the post office. The Sandy’s parish woman sustained facial injuries and was taken to KEMH via ambulance for treatment. Her car received extensive front end damage while the van received moderate front end damage; the wall was also damaged. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Burglary

Around 1:20pm on Tuesday, Police received a report of a burglary at a North Shore Road, Pembroke residence. The complainant stated that sometime between 8:30am and 12:45pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into her home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a quantity of cash. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Around 12:50pm on Tuesday, Police received a report of a burglary at a North Ridge Crescent, Devonshire residence. The complainants stated that sometime between 8:10am and 12:25pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into the home. The culprit stole a quantity of cash and a knapsack. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Missing Juvenile

The Bermuda Police Service is continuing to appeal for the public’s assistance in locating 16 year old Troylene Anderson. The teenager was last seen around 10:30pm on Thursday, May 21st 2009 in the Smith’s parish area. She is described as light brown skinned, 5’5” tall of thick build weighing approximately 186 pounds with black hair. Troylene Anderson was last seen wearing black jean pants, a black hooded jacket and a pink shirt. She also has a muffler burn on her right leg above the ankle. The teenager is known to frequent the Pembroke area and has been in contact with family recently. Police are appealing for anyone with any information on the whereabouts of 16 year old Troylene Anderson to contact the Child Victims Unit on 295-0011.
