Injury RTC - Around 4:20pm on Sunday, Police attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury on North Shore Road in Hamilton parish near the junction with Green Bay Road involving two cars. It appears that a red Nissan March was traveling east on North Shore Road and a silver Suzuki Swift was traveling in the opposite direction when they collided. The driver of the eastbound car, a 43 year old Hamilton parish man, was not injured. The three other occupants of that vehicle (the driver’s wife and two young children) were also not injured. The driver of the westbound car, a 53 year old Southampton woman, complained of pain to her chest and head. She was taken to KEMH via ambulance for treatment of her injuries, which are not considered life threatening. Both cars received extensive front end damage. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Weekend Activity

Over the weekend there were 3 people arrested on suspicion of impaired driving and 5 reported burglaries. There were also 9 reported damage only road traffic collisions, 11 reported road traffic collisions resulting in injury and 5 vehicles reported taken without their owners’ consent.
