Injury RTC - Around 2pm on Tuesday, Police attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury on Middle Road in Devonshire near the junction with Marsh Lane involving two motorcycles. It appears that one motorcycle was traveling east on Middle Road and the other motorcycle was traveling in the opposite direction when the vehicles collided. The rider of the eastbound cycle, a 57 year old Pembroke man, sustained broken toes on his right foot, a broken finger on his left hand and abrasions. He was taken to KEMH via ambulance for treatment. The rider of the westbound cycle did not stop. Inquiries into this incident are underway. Police are appealing for any witnesses to this collision to contact PC Travis Powell on 295-0011.
Missing Juvenile
The Bermuda Police Service is appealing for the public’s assistance in locating 17 year old Tynieka Bean (pictured right). The teenager was last seen in the Smith’s parish area on Friday, April 17, 2009. She is described as dark skinned, 5’4” tall with dark brown hair, weighing approximately 200 pounds. Anyone with any information on the whereabouts of 17 year old Tynieka Bean is encouraged to contact the Child Victims Unit on 295-0011.
