Injury RTC - Around 6:50pm on Sunday, Police attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury at the junction of Middle Road and Frithcote Lane in Warwick involving a car and a motorcycle. It appears that the motorcycle was traveling west on Middle Road and the car was exiting Frithcote Lane when the vehicles collided. The rider of the motorcycle, a 30 year old Warwick man, sustained a broken left thumb as well as abrasions to his right hand and right knee. The driver of the car, a 51 year old Smith’s parish man, was not injured. Both vehicles were moderately damaged. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Missing Juvenile - Found

The Bermuda Police Service would like to thank the public for their assistance in locating 17 year old Chantice Butterfield. The teenager was found safe and well around 4:30pm Sunday in Pembroke.

Advisory – Helmet Offences

The Roads Policing Unit would like to remind the motoring public that officers continue to patrol the island’s roads focusing on helmet offences. Anyone riding a motorcycle/auxiliary cycle without a helmet, with the helmet unfastened or improperly fastened will be ticketed.

Bermuda Police Service Website Upgrade

The Bermuda Police Service has recently upgraded its website, which is now more visually appealing and user friendly. New features include the ability to search the entire website by keyword or phrase as well as the ability to search for any media report in the same manner. Weekend Activity

Over the weekend there were 2 people arrested on suspicion of impaired driving and 5 reported burglaries. There were also 10 reported damage only road traffic collisions, 3 reported road traffic collisions resulting in injury and 5 vehicles reported taken without their owners’ consent.
