Injury RTC/Impaired Driving - At 7:25pm on Thursday, Police attended a reported single vehicle road traffic collision resulting in injury at the junction of St. John’s Road and Euclid Avenue in Pembroke. It appears that a motorcycle was traveling south on St. John’s Road when the rider, a 38 year old Pembroke man, lost control at the junction and collided with a utility pole. The Pembroke man sustained a laceration to his head as well as abrasions to his hands and feet. He was taken to KEMH for treatment of his injuries and subsequently arrested on suspicion of impaired driving. The motorcycle received moderate front end damage. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Injury RTC

At 7:50pm on Thursday, Police attended a reported single vehicle road traffic collision resulting in injury on South Road in Paget near the junction with Fritholme Gardens. It appears that a car was traveling west on South Road when the driver, a 54 year old Warwick woman, lost control and collided with a tree. The Warwick woman sustained a minor scratch to her face as a result. The car received moderate front end damage. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Missing Juvenile

The Bermuda Police Service is continuing to appeal for the public’s assistance in locating 17 year old Chantice Butterfield (pictured right). The teenager was last seen in the Smith’s parish area around 9am on Thursday, April 9, 2009. She is described as dark skinned, weighing approximately 180 pounds with dark brown hair in a ‘Mohawk’ style and is known to frequent the ‘Dandy Town’ and ‘Middle Town’ areas of Pembroke. Anyone with any information on the whereabouts of 17 year old Chantice Butterfield is encouraged to contact the Child Victims Unit on 295-0011.
