Injury RTC - At 12:35pm on Tuesday, Police attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury on North Shore Road in Hamilton parish near the junction with East Point Lane involving a motorcycle and a pedestrian. It appears that the motorcycle was traveling along North Shore Road in the vicinity of the Bermuda Aquarium, Museum & Zoo when the pedestrian attempted to cross the road. The rider of the motorcycle, a 20 year old St. George’s man, attempted to avoid the pedestrian but was unable to. As a result of the collision, the motorcyclist sustained a sore jaw as well as cuts & abrasions to his hands, legs and body. The pedestrian, a 69 year old Paget man, sustained a head injury and a fractured right leg as well as cuts & abrasions to his hands, legs and body. Both men were taken to KEMH via ambulance for treatment of their injuries. The motorcycle received moderate damage. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
