Sudden Death - The Bermuda Police Service can now confirm the death of 25 year old Kareem Raynor of Pembroke. An investigation into the circumstances regarding his death is ongoing. The Bermuda Police Service extends our sincere condolences to the family & friends of the deceased. An autopsy is anticipated.

Injury RTC

Around 12am today (midnight on Wednesday) Police attended a reported single vehicle road traffic collision resulting in injury on Kindley Field Road in St. George’s. It appears that a motorcycle was traveling west on Kindley Field Road when the rider, a 37 year old Warwick man, lost control and fell to the ground (near the airport round-a-bout). The Warwick man sustained a broken left ankle and abrasions to his face. The motorcycle received moderate damage. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Around 6:30pm on Tuesday, Police attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury on Middle Road in Warwick, near the junction with Ord Road involving a car and a motorcycle. It appears that the car and the motorcycle were both traveling west on Middle Road, with the car in front of the cycle. The car came to a sudden stop but the rider of the motorcycle, a 19 year old Devonshire man, was unable to stop in time and collided with the rear of the vehicle. The Devonshire man complained of pain to his ankles. The driver of the car, a 32 year old Sandy’s parish woman, was not injured. The motorcycle received front end damage while the car received relatively minor rear end damage. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
