Injury RTC - Around 2:25pm on Sunday, Police attended a reported single vehicle road traffic collision resulting in injury on Middle Road in Southampton near the junction with Lukes Pond Road. It appears that a rental cycle was traveling east on Middle Road when the rider, a 39 year old Florida man, lost control and rode over an embankment. The visitor sustained back injuries and a suspected broken left ankle. He was taken to KEMH via ambulance for treatment. The rental cycle received moderate damage. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Found Property – Owner Located

The Marine Police Unit would like to thank the public for their assistance in locating the owner of a 9.9hp Mariner engine which was found around 3pm on Thursday in the Great Bay, St. George’s area by a member of the public. The engine’s owner has now been found.

Weekend Activity

Over the weekend there were 4 people arrested on suspicion of impaired driving and 10 reported burglaries. There were also 9 reported damage only road traffic collisions, 6 reported road traffic collisions resulting in injury and 7 vehicles reported taken without their owners’ consent.
