Injury RTC - Around 11:05pm on Saturday, Police attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury at the junction of Middle Road and Stadium Lane in Warwick involving an auxiliary cycle and a car. It appears that the auxiliary cycle was traveling west on Middle Road and the car was traveling in the opposite direction when the vehicles collided. The rider of the cycle, a 17 year old Pembroke woman, sustained a broken right ankle as well as cuts to her hands and legs. She was taken to KEMH via ambulance for treatment. The driver of the car, a 20 year old Sandy’s parish man, was not injured. The car received front end damage while the auxiliary cycle was extensively damaged. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Burglary

Around 12:40pm on Saturday, Police received a report of a burglary at a Collectors Hill, Smith’s parish residence. The complainant stated that sometime between 8:30am and 12 noon that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into her home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a black & grey laptop computer, an I-Pod and a quantity of jewelry. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Around 11:20pm on Friday, Police received a report of a burglary at a Stovell Bay Road, Pembroke residence. The complainant stated that sometime between 12 noon and 11pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into the home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a PlayStation 3 video game system, a Nintendo Wii video game system, a 23” Samsung flat screen TV and personal items. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
