Advisory Regarding Motorized Mini Bikes

Wed, 2009-02-11

The Bermuda Police Service is aware that motorized mini bikes are being used on the island’s roads, parks and on the railway trails particularly in the Khyber Pass and Ord Road, Warwick area and the Loyal Hill, Devonshire area. These vehicles are often ridden by young children; however these bikes are not licensed or insured.

Police are asking parents & guardians of children with motorized mini bikes to be vigilant about where the bikes are being ridden and to make sure they are not used on the roads, parks or railway trails. The Bermuda Police Service reminds all operators of motorized mini bikes to do so responsibly. Appropriate action will be taken by Police if any offences are observed being committed.
