Injury RTC

Around 12 noon on Tuesday, Police attended a reported serious road traffic collision resulting in injury on Middle Road in Warwick in the vicinity of Lindos Family Foods involving a car and a motorcycle. It appears that both vehicles were traveling east on Middle Road, with the car ahead of the cycle. As the driver of the car, a 37 year old Sandys parish woman, made a right turn into the entrance of the supermarket the rider of the cycle, an 18 year old Hamilton parish man, attempted to overtake and the vehicles collided. The Hamilton parish man sustained a ruptured spleen, broken ribs and abrasions to his hands & knees. He was taken to KEMH via ambulance for treatment and is currently in stable condition on a general ward. The Sandys parish woman was not injured. Inquiries into this incident are underway. Police are appealing for any witnesses to this collision to contact PC Travel Brown on 295-0011.

Burglary

At 9:25pm on Tuesday, Police attended a reported burglary at an Orange Hole Road, St. Georges residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 8:15am and 7:30pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into her home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a quantity of cash and a gold ring. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Around 7:40pm on Tuesday, Police attended a reported burglary at a Turtle Bay Drive, Southampton residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 2:30pm and 6pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into his home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a Canon digital camera, camera lens, a watch and a quantity of cash. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
