Burglary

At 8:05 this morning, Police attended a reported burglary at a Harrington Sound Road, Smiths parish construction site. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 5:30pm on Thursday and 7:30am on Friday, an unknown culprit gained entry into a building on the premises. The culprit stole a Panasonic 20" flat screen TV. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Around 9:10am on Thursday, Police attended a reported burglary at a Rings Court, Warwick residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between midnight and 7:10am that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into her home. The culprit stole a quantity of cash. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Video Identification Database (PROMAT)

The Bermuda Police Service would like to thank the volunteers who agreed to be filmed for the new video identification database known as PROMAT. In the end a total of 230 diverse individuals were filmed. The establishment of a relevant and diverse video identification database in Bermuda will serve as an important tool in the identification and subsequent prosecution of criminals.
