Burglary

Around 8:35am on Saturday, Police received a report of a burglary at a Camp Lane, Warwick residence. The complainant stated that sometime between 5:45pm and 6:50pm on Friday, an unknown culprit gained entry into her home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a quantity of cash. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

At 5pm on Friday, Police received a report of a burglary at a Daisyfield Drive, Sandys parish residence. The complainant stated that sometime between 7:15am and 5pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into her home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a gold ring and a quantity of cash. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Appeal for Operators of Rental Boat

The Marine Police are appealing for information regarding the three occupants of a rental boat registration #R153, which was rented from Somerset Bridge Water Sports in Sandys parish around 3:30pm Saturday. The vessel failed to return to the rental company at the scheduled time; however, it was subsequently located by Marine Police unattended and secured at Pitts Bay following an extensive shoreline search. Bermuda Radio is also aware of this incident and assisted in efforts to locate the overdue vessel and its occupants. The Marine Police are encouraging the occupants of this vessel, believed to be three young men, or anyone with any information about this matter, to contact the Marine Police office on 299-4584 so that the welfare of the individuals involved can be confirmed.
