Injury RTC

At 3:05 this morning, Police attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury on Harbour Road in Warwick near the junction with Jones Lane involving a car and a motorcycle. It appears that the motorcycle was traveling west on Harbour Road and the car was traveling in the opposite direction when the vehicles collided. The rider of the motorcycle, a 35 year old Southampton man, sustained a broken pelvis as well as lacerations to his chin and right leg. He was taken to KEMH via ambulance for treatment. The driver of the car, a 22 year old Sandys parish man, was not injured; however, he was subsequently arrested on suspicion of impaired driving. The motorcycle was extensively damaged while the car received extensive front end damage. Inquiries into this incident are underway. Police are appealing for any witnesses to this collision to contact PC Marlon Waldron on 295-0011.

Burglary

At 1:45pm on Wednesday, Police attended a reported burglary at a Ridgeway Road, Pembroke residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 8am and 1:30pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into her home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a silver Canon PowerShot digital camera in a black case. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
