The Bermuda Police Service has received five reports of thefts from unattended vehicles parked in the Palmetto Road/Old Military Road, Devonshire area. It appears that the cars were parked in the area Saturday evening while the occupants went to the Bermuda Music Festival at the National Sports Centre. However when the individuals returned to their vehicles around 12am on Sunday, they discovered that unknown culprits had gained entry. It appears that quantities of cash were removed from four of the vehicles. Inquiries into these incidents are underway.

Burglary

Around 10:50pm on Saturday, Police attended a reported burglary at a Riddells Bay Road, Warwick residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 6pm on Monday, September 3rd and 10pm on Saturday, October 6th, 2007 an unknown culprit gained entry into his home while he was overseas. The culprit stole a Yamaha Axis motorcycle, license #AV 398 and a black helmet. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
