Burglary

At 8:30pm on Monday, Police attended a reported burglary at a Wellington Slip Road, St. Georges residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 7:10am and 8pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into an apartment on the premises while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a Toshiba laptop computer. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Around 7:30pm on Monday, Police attended a reported burglary at a Crow Lane, Pembroke residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainants who stated that sometime between 7:30am and 7pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into their home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole 6 bottles of red wine and a black Xerox bag containing a computer cable. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Around 7:45am on Monday, Police received a report of a burglary at a Midsea Lane, Pembroke construction site. The complainant stated that sometime between 5pm on Saturday and 4:30pm on Sunday, an unknown culprit gained entry into a tool shed on the property. The culprit stole a quantity of electrical tools including a Makita chipping hammer, a Makita circular saw, a DeWalt cordless drill and two Makita hammer drills. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

The Bermuda Police Service is continuing to remind construction site foremen that they should secure all tools in a locked container, structure or area at the end of the work day. All tools should also be marked and an inventory of the tools and their serial numbers kept in a separate location.
