Injury RTC

At 2:20pm on Tuesday, Police attended a reported single vehicle road traffic collision resulting in injury on Harrington Sound Road in Hamilton parish. It appears that the rental cycle was traveling east on Harrington Sound Road when the rider, a 41 year old woman visiting from Massachusetts U.S.A., lost control and collided with the roadside guardrail. The visitor sustained a ruptured spleen and abrasions and was taken to KEMH via ambulance for treatment. At last check she was in the Intensive Care Unit in stable condition. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Burglary

At 5:35pm on Tuesday, Police attended a reported burglary at a Two Way Lane, Pembroke residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 8:25am and 5:15pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into his home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a quantity of cash. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Around 4:55pm on Tuesday, Police attended a reported burglary at a Jennings Road, Smiths parish residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 10:10am and 4:10pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into her home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole an X-Box 360 video game system with two controllers, a silver Dell laptop computer, a silver Panasonic camcorder, a black Samsung cellular phone and a black MP3 player. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Around 9:50am on Tuesday, Police attended a reported burglary at a Cobbs Hill Road, Paget residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 1pm and 4pm on Monday, an unknown culprit gained entry into his home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a quantity of jewelry. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
