Police responded to a report of breaking and entering that took place yesterday at Two Way Mews. It appears that the complainants left their apartment secured at 9am yesterday and when they returned home at 6:30pm they noticed that someone had made an untidy search of their dwelling and stole a Motorola V3 cell phone and a Play Station 2. Inquiries into this incident are ongoing.
Impaired Driving
Meantime, Police were on mobile patrol in the early hours of this morning when they observed a man driving a vehicle on Queen Street in an erratic manner. Officers stopped the vehicle and asked the driver to get out. At that point officers noticed the 32 year old man had slurred speech, his eyes were glazed over and he was unsteady on his feet. He was arrested, cautioned and taken to Hamilton Police Station where he refused to provide a breath sample.
