Death of Man on Ladder

Police can now confirm the death of 42 year old Arthur Trott of Leacraft Hill in Southampton who died as a result of injuries sustained in an industrial accident. First responders attended a residence on Pieces of Eight Lane in St. Georges at 3:43pm Friday afternoon on a report of an industrial accident. It appears the victim was working on a section of a residence that is under renovation when he apparently fell off a ladder and hit his head. He was treated at the scene and rushed to the hospital, where he was placed in ICU; however, Mr. Trott succumbed to his injuries at 4:36 this morning. The Bermuda Police Service extends our sincere condolences to the family & friends of the deceased.
