Theft

Around 11:15pm on Thursday, Police attended a reported theft on Wellington Street in St. George's near Tiger Bay. On arrival officers spoke with the victim, a 45 year old St. George's man, who stated that as he walked west along Wellington Street he passed three men who approached him. One of the men grabbed the victim's bag and then all three men made good their escape, running towards Tiger Bay. The St. George's man was not injured. The black bag contained a karaoke 'Magic Sing' microphone. The suspects are described as three young dark skinned men; one wearing a dark coloured hooded jacket and another wearing an orange coloured hooded jacket. Inquiries into this incident are underway. Police are appealing for any witnesses to this incident or anyone with any information to contact the Southside Police Station on 293-2222.

At 11:35am on Thursday, Police attended reported thefts from a White Sands Road, Paget construction site and a Harbour Road, Paget construction site. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between Monday, April 9 and Saturday, April 14, 2007 an unknown culprit stole a quantity of tools from both premises. Inquiries into these incidents are underway.

Burglary

At 5:15pm on Thursday, Police attended a reported burglary at a Turkey Hill, St. George's residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainants who stated that sometime between 9am and 4:15pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into their home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a quantity of jewelry. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
