Police responded to a report of a serious single vehicle road traffic collision resulting in injury that took place at the junction of Elliot Street and Princess Street in Pembroke around 3:20 Sunday morning. Details at this point are sketchy however, it appears that a 22 year old Pembroke man was traveling on a cycle on that said road when he lost control of his bike resulting in the rider being found on the ground unconscious. He was taken to KEMH where he is presently in the Intensive Care Unit in critical condition. Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with any information on this collision to contact Roads Policing on 295-0011.
