Around 1:55pm on Tuesday, Police attended a reported fire on the premises of Cedarbridge Academy. On arrival officers noticed thick smoke coming from the back of the property. It appears that a derelict boat at that location caught fire. The Bermuda Fire Service was already on scene and extinguished the blaze. No one was injured. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Around 5:10am on Saturday, Police attended a report of a fire at a Tribe Road #2, Warwick residence. On arrival officers found the lower apartment ablaze; however, no one was inside the apartment at the time. The Bermuda Fire Service arrived on scene and eventually extinguished the fire. No one was injured. An investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing and Police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with any information about this incident to contact the Somerset Criminal Investigation Unit on 234-1010.
