Injury RTC

Around 6:20pm on Saturday, Police attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury on Harrington Sound Road in Hamilton parish involving a car and a motorcycle. It appears that the motorcycle was traveling east on Harrington Sound Road and the car was traveling in the opposite direction when the collision occurred. The rider of the motorcycle, a 36 year old Hamilton parish man, sustained abrasions to his left knee and hand. He was arrested on suspicion of impaired driving and subsequently taken to KEMH for treatment of his injuries. The driver of the car, a 38 year old Devonshire woman, was not injured. Both vehicles sustained relatively minor damage. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Around 3:45am on Saturday, Police attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury on Middle Road in Devonshire near the junction with Leeson Lane. The circumstances of the collision remain unclear; however, it appears that the car was traveling east on Middle Road when the driver, a 20 year old Devonshire man, lost control of the vehicle which struck an embankment and overturned. The Devonshire man sustained minor abrasions as a result; however, the car was extensively damaged. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Damage Only RTC

Around 7:40am on Saturday, Police received a report of a single vehicle damage only road traffic collision on Happy Valley Road in Devonshire, near the junction with Montpelier Road. It appears that around 11:45am on Friday the van was traveling west on Happy Valley Road when the driver, a 20 year old Southampton man, lost control near the junction with Montpelier Road and collided with a wooden fence. The vehicle then ended up over an embankment. The Southampton man was not injured in the collision. The van received front and rear end damage. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
