Advisory

The Bermuda Police Service (BPS) is aware of an e-mail currently circulating with the official BPS logo regarding safety at ATM machines. The e-mail suggests that if someone is being attacked or robbed at an ATM machine, they can summon help by entering their PIN number backwards. This e-mail is untrue and the addition of the BPS logo in the forwarding process, while regrettable, should not give any validity to the information contained in this correspondence.
