Around 7:50 this morning, Police attended a reported single vehicle road traffic collision resulting in injury on North Shore Road in Smiths parish, near the junction with Jennings Road. It appears that the bus was traveling west on North Shore Road with 25 passengers onboard. As the bus approached ‘Flatts corner it encountered a BELCO truck traveling in the opposite direction. The bus drifted to its left and collided with a pole, shattering a left side rear window. As a result one of the passengers, a 47 year old Southampton man, was taken to KEMH for treatment after glass apparently went into his eyes. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Burglary

At 7:55pm on Tuesday, Police attended a reported burglary at a Lukes Pond Drive, Southampton residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 7:30am and 6:30pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into his apartment while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a silver Sony digital camera. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

At 7:45pm on Tuesday, Police received a report of a burglary at a Sound View Road, Sandys parish residence. The complainant stated that sometime between 2pm and 7:30pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into his home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a ladies watch. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Around 6pm on Tuesday, Police attended a reported burglary at an Admiral Walk, Southampton residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 7:55am and 5:15pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into her home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a black laptop computer, a silver cellular phone and a quantity of cash. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
