At 1:40 this morning, Police received a report of a single vehicle road traffic collision resulting in injury which occurred around 11pm Wednesday at the junction of South Road and Ardsheal Drive in Paget. It appears that a motorcycle was traveling west on South Road when the rider, a 37 year old Paget man, lost control as he attempted to make a left turn at the junction with Ardsheal Drive. The Paget man sustained minor facial injuries and a ruptured spleen. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

At 12:45 this morning, Police attended a reported serious single vehicle road traffic collision resulting in injury on Middle Road in Warwick near the junction with Longford Road. It appears that a car was traveling east on Middle Road when the driver, a 23 year old Paget woman, lost control. As a result the car struck a sidewalk, overturned and then collided with a wall. The Paget woman sustained serious head injuries and was rushed to KEMH via ambulance for treatment. She is currently in the Intensive Care Unit in critical condition. The cars front seat passenger, a 23 year old St. Georges woman, sustained facial injuries and abrasions. She was also taken to the hospital for treatment. The car received damage to multiple areas. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
