Burglary

Around 4:10pm on Saturday, Police attended a reported burglary at a Cottage Hill Lane, Hamilton parish residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that an unknown culprit gained entry into his home while he was overseas recently. The culprit stole a quantity of cash, jewelry and personal items. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Around 8:05am on Saturday, Police received a report of a burglary at a North Shore Road, Pembroke residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 9am and 8pm on Friday, an unknown culprit gained entry into her apartment while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a quantity of cash. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Weekend Activity

Over the weekend there were 6 people arrested on suspicion of impaired driving and 5 reported burglaries. There were also 10 reported damage only road traffic collisions, 1 reported road traffic collision resulting in injury and 7 vehicles reported taken without their owners consent.
