Industrial Accident

Around 9 this morning, Police received a report of an industrial accident on Industrial Park Road in Southampton. Details are unclear; however, it appears that two men were on a forklift which was traveling down a steep hill when it collided with fencing along the side of the hill and overturned. The driver of the forklift, a 43 year old man, sustained serious injuries and was rushed to KEMH via ambulance for treatment. The other man on the forklift, a 32 year old Southampton man, sustained injuries which are not believed to life threatening at this time. He was also taken to KEMH via ambulance for treatment. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
