Burglary

At 1:40 this morning, Police received a report of a burglary at a Cherry Hill Park, Paget residence. Officers attended the residence a short time later. The victim, a 55 year old Paget man, stated that around 1:15am he was at home in bed with his wife when he noticed an unknown man in his bedroom. The Paget resident confronted the intruder and a struggle ensued. Eventually the 55 year old man was able to restrain the suspect, a 38 year old Devonshire man, until Police arrived. Both men were taken to KEMH via ambulance for treatment of injuries allegedly sustained in the scuffle; the Paget resident was treated for a laceration to his head while the Devonshire man was taken to the Intensive Care Unit after he also apparently suffered a head injury. It is unknown if anything was taken from the home at this time. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
