Around 5:20pm on Wednesday, Police attended a reported single vehicle road traffic collision on Harbour Road in Paget, near the junction with Manse Road. It appears that a car was traveling west on Harbour Road and two motorcycles were traveling in the opposite direction when one of the motorcycles allegedly entered the westbound lane. As a result the driver of the car, a 35 year old St. George’s man, took evasive action to avoid a collision with the motorcycle; however instead the car collided with a utility pole and a wall. The St. George’s man sustained facial cuts and attended KEMH for treatment of his injuries. The car was extensively damaged. The motorcycles did not stop. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Around 10am on Wednesday, Police attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury on North Shore Road in Hamilton parish near the junction with Radnor Road involving a motorcycle and a truck. It appears that the motorcycle was traveling west overtaking a line of traffic when the rider, a 25 year old Hamilton parish woman collided with the rear of the truck, which was in the line of westbound traffic. The Hamilton parish woman sustained an injury to her left shoulder and arm. The driver of the truck, a 59 year old Hamilton parish man, was not injured. The motorcycle received damage to multiple areas; however, the truck was not damaged. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Burglary

At 1:30pm on Wednesday, Police attended a reported burglary at a Stepney Lane, Pembroke residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 11:30am and 12:30pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into his home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a pink Sony Cybershot digital camera, a pink I-Pod Nano, a white I-Pod Nano and a PlayStation Portable. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

All incidents are under investigation.
