Around 11:45pm on Thursday, Police attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury on Shelton Road in Devonshire near the junction with Third Avenue. It appears that a taxi and a motorcycle were both traveling north on Shelton Road, with the taxi in front of the motorcycle. The taxi then stopped to drop off a fare and the motorcycle collided with the rear of the taxi. The rider of the motorcycle, a 23 year old Pembroke man, sustained facial injuries. He was taken to KEMH via ambulance for treatment. The driver of the taxi, a 41 year old Warwick man, was not injured. The motorcycle received front end damage while the taxi received rear end damage. Inquiries are underway.
