Disturbance

At midnight on Monday, Police attended a reported disturbance on Front Street in the City of Hamilton outside The Beach. On arrival officers observed three men involved in a physical altercation. Two of the men, a 30 year old Pembroke man and a 27 year old Devonshire man, were arrested and taken to Hamilton Police Station. The third combatant, a 27 year old Pembroke man, was taken to KEMH for treatment of a laceration above his right eye. He was subsequently released. Inquiries are underway.

Burglary

Around 5:30pm on Saturday, Police received a report of a burglary at a South Road, Paget residence. The complainant stated that sometime between 1pm and 5:20pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into his home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a black 32” Toshiba LCD TV, a silver Compaq laptop computer, a black 19” LG LCD TV and a white I-Pod. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Weekend Activity

Over the weekend there were 5 people arrested on suspicion of impaired driving and 11 reported burglaries. There were also 13 reported damage only road traffic collisions, 8 reported road traffic collisions resulting in injury and 7 vehicles reported taken without their owners’ consent.
