Injury RTC

Around 7pm on Tuesday, Police attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury on North Shore Road in Hamilton parish near the junction with Cottage Hill Road involving a car and an auxiliary cycle. It appears that both vehicles were traveling east on North Shore Road with the car in front of the auxiliary cycle when the car came to a stop. The rider of the cycle, a 17 year old Hamilton parish man, was unable to stop in time and collided with the rear of the car. The Hamilton parish man sustained a swollen right wrist, a laceration above his right eye and abrasions to his right leg as a result. He was taken to KEMH via ambulance for treatment of his injuries. The driver of the car, a 52 year old Hamilton parish man, was not injured. The auxiliary cycle received extensive front end damage while the car received moderate rear end damage. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Burglary

At 6:55pm on Tuesday, Police attended a reported burglary at a Rockville Lane, Pembroke residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 1pm and 5:45pm that day an unknown culprit gained entry into his apartment while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a silver Seiko men's watch. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Around 6:30pm on Tuesday, Police received a report of a burglary at a Stadium Heights, Devonshire residence. The complainant stated that sometime between 8:30am and 12:30pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into the home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a quantity of cash. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Around 4:30pm on Tuesday, Police attended a reported burglary at a Woodlawn Road, Sandy's parish residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 9:15am and 4:15pm that day, an unknown culprit or culprits gained entry into her home while it was unoccupied. The culprit(s) stole a quantity of jewelry, an X-Box 360 video game system and a laptop computer. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

All incidents are under investigation.
