Injury RTC

Around 11:40 this morning, Police attended a reported single vehicle road traffic collision resulting in injury at the junction of Middle Road and South Road in Southampton. It appears that a rental cycle was traveling east on Middle Road when the rider, a 28 year old Rhode Island woman, attempted to make a right turn on to South Road, lost control and collided with the sidewalk. As a result the female visitor sustained facial injuries and abrasions to her left leg, knee and hand. The cycle received front end damage. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
