Reported Two Vehicle Collision in Devonshire

Around 11pm Saturday, July 1st police and first responders were dispatched to a reported two vehicle collision at the junction of Watlington Road East and Brighton Hill Road in Devonshire involving a car and a motorcycle

Details remain limited at this time.

However the motorcyclist, believed to be a 52 year old man, was injured and transported to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment.

Initial information suggests that his injuries are serious but not life threatening at this time and a condition update will be provided in due course.

Update: Monday, July 3rd - At last check the 52 year old male motorcyclist believed to be from Devonshire injured around 11pm Saturday, July 1st in a collision with a car at the junction of Watlington Road East and Brighton Hill Road, Devonshire was recovering in stable condition on a general ward at the hospital.

Reported Suspicious Activity in Southampton

Around 12:15am Saturday, July 1st police responded to a report of suspicious activity in the area of Eastdale Lane, Southampton.

As officers were conducting inquiries, a sound similar to a single shot being discharged from a firearm was heard in close proximity.

However, there was no forensic evidence recovered to confirm the discharge of a firearm and no reported injuries.

Four male teenagers have been arrested in connection with this incident and currently remain in police custody as inquiries continue.

Reported Assault in Warwick

Around 11:30pm Friday, June 30th police officers responded to an incident on Morgan Road in Warwick. However, on arrival no incident was located and individuals in the area were not forthcoming with information.

Then around 2:30am Saturday, July 1st police officers attended King Edward VII Memorial Hospital where an injured teenaged male was receiving treatment for non-life threatening wounds.

Initial information suggests that earlier the young man was sitting on a wall along Morgan Road with other teens when he was assaulted by an unknown male.
