Reported Three Vehicle Collision in Southampton

Around 5:15pm Thursday, June 15th police and first responders were dispatched to a reported three vehicle collision on Middle Road in Southampton near the junction with South Road.

It appears that a car, taxi and motorcycle were involved.

The car ended up on its side with the driver, believed to be a 54 year old Sandys parish woman, temporarily trapped in the vehicle.

She was then taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment of her injuries and later discharged.

Traffic in the area was delayed for approximately two hours.

Pedal Cyclist Injured in King Street Crash

Around 5pm Thursday, June 15th police and first responders were dispatched to a reported pedal cycle crash near the King Street, Dundonald Street junction in the City of Hamilton.

It appears that a 62 year old male pedal cyclist fell to the ground while attempting to make a turn.

The injured man was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment and later discharged.
