Injury RTC - Around 4:30pm on Thursday, Police attended a reported single vehicle road traffic collision resulting in injury on Harbour Road in Paget near Red Hole. It appears that a rental cycle was traveling west along Harbour Road when the rider a 59 year old Georgia man lost control, collided with a wall and fell to the ground. The rider sustained lacerations to the left side of his body. His pillion passenger, a 54 year old Georgia woman, also sustained lacerations to the left side of her body as well as pain in her chest and ribs. EMTs also attended the scene.

Impaired Driving

Around 3:45pm on Thursday, Police on mobile patrol traveling east on Mount Hill in Pembroke observed a motorcycle being ridden in an erratic manner on Langton Hill. As a result Police caused the vehicle to stop at the junction of St. John’s Road and Cedar Avenue. The rider, a 56 year old Paget man, was subsequently arrested on suspicion of impaired driving and detained after failing the alco-analyser test. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
