16 Year Old Girl Hurt in Two Vehicle Hamilton Parish Collision [Updated]

Around 2:10pm Saturday, February 24th police and first responders attended a reported two vehicle collision on North Shore Road in Hamilton parish.

It appears that a 16 year old girl from Paget riding a 50cc auxiliary cycle along North Shore Road collided with a car being driven in the opposite direction, near the junction with Radnor Road.

The teen apparently sustained a leg injury and was transported via ambulance to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for treatment.

An update on her condition will be provided in due course. There were no other injuries reported. However, both vehicles involved were damaged.

Update: Monday, February 26th - At last check this morning (February 26th) the 16 year old Paget girl hurt when the 50cc auxiliary cycle she was riding along North Shore Road, Hamilton parish collided with a car around 2:10pm Saturday, February 24th was recovering in stable condition on a general ward at the hospital.
