Around 9:20pm on Monday, Police attended a reported serious road traffic collision on North Street in Pembroke involving an auxiliary cycle and a motorcycle. It appears that the auxiliary cycle was traveling west on North Street near the House of India when the motorcycle which was traveling in the opposite direction attempted a right turn across the path of the auxiliary cycle, causing a collision.

At 12:35am on Saturday, Police attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury at the junction of Harbour Road and Cobbs Hill Road in Warwick involving a car and a motorcycle. It appears that the car was traveling west on Harbour Road when the rider of the motorcycle which was traveling in the opposite direction lost control, causing a collision.

Details are unclear; however, it appears that an 8 year old girl was walking across the pedestrian crossing when a motorcycle traveling west overtook a car and struck her. She was taken to KEMH for treatment of bruising and released.

Around 3:55 this morning, Police received a report of a theft from a boat. The complainant stated that sometime between 11pm on Wednesday and 2:30am on Thursday an unknown culprit stole a 35 lb. anchor, a 75 lb. anchor and 200 feet of rope from his sailboat moored in Stocks Harbour, St. George’s. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
