5:30pm Press Conference: BPS Confirm Death of 19 Year Old Mark Dombroski

Acting Assistant Commissioner of Police James Howard – It is with sadness that the Bermuda Police Service (BPS) can now confirm the death of 19 year old Mark Dombroski of Pennsylvania U.S.A. and we extend our heartfelt condolences to the Dombroski family.

His body was found in the moat at Fort Prospect, which is located between Mary Victoria Road and Police Headquarters in Devonshire.

The area has been cordoned off and the scene will be processed by officers from the Forensic Support Unit. An autopsy is anticipated in due course.

Police continue to appeal for witnesses and anyone with any information on the last known whereabouts of 19 year old Mark Dombroski is asked to contact Acting Detective Inspector Karema Flood by phone on 717-2086 or by e-mail kflood@bps.bm.

All incidents are under investigation. Police are appealing to members of the public who have witnessed these incidents or may have information pertaining to them to contact their respective Police Station, Police Headquarters at 295-0011 or the confidential Crimestoppers Hotline on 1 (800) 623-8477.
