Motorcyclist Hurt in Hamilton Parish Crash Discharged From Hospital

At last check earlier today (January 4th) the 31 year old Warwick man injured when the motorcycle he was riding apparently struck a wall along North Shore Road, Hamilton parish in the vicinity of Francis Patton Primary School around 8:25pm Monday, January 1st had since been discharged from the hospital after initially receiving treatment in the Intensive Care Unit.

Inquiries continue and any witnesses that have not already come forward are asked to contact the main police telephone number 295-0011.

Improved Road Conditions Observed After Reported Oil Spill

The relevant Government agencies and police officers on mobile patrol in the eastern parishes have assessed the road surface between North Shore Road, Flatts and St. George’s after a reported oil spill earlier this morning.

At last check road conditions had improved since the original report and there have been no further reports of oil slicks in that area.

All incidents are under investigation. Police are appealing to members of the public who have witnessed these incidents or may have information pertaining to them to contact their respective Police Station, Police Headquarters at 295-0011 or the confidential Crimestoppers Hotline on 1 (800) 623-8477.
