Raymond Butterfield Murder Investigation Continues

The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the murder of 28 year old Raymond Butterfield continues.

Detectives are still interested in speaking with anyone that has not already come forward who was at the Blue Waters Anglers Club during the evening of Sunday 5th March.

In particular, persons that would have been outside when the fatal stabbing occurred, as well as individuals that came into contact with Mr. Butterfield throughout the evening of Sunday 5th March 2017.

ICU Condition Update: Teen Injured on Railway Trail in Warwick

At last check earlier this morning (March 16th) the 19 year old Pembroke man apparently injured in a reported disturbance along the Railway Trail in Warwick near Pearman’s Hill around 7:45pm Tuesday, March 14th remained in the Intensive Care Unit in stable condition.

The investigation continues and witnesses or anyone with any information should contact the Criminal Investigation Department on 247-1744.

Rambling Lane Shooting Victim Recovering

At last check this morning (March 16th) the 19 year old Pembroke man shot in the Rambling Lane, Pembroke area around 10:30pm Thursday March 9th had been transferred from the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit to a general ward in stable condition.

The investigation continues and any witnesses that have not yet spoken with detectives should call the Serious Crime Unit on 247-1739.

Alternatively, persons with relevant information should contact the independent and confidential Crime Stoppers hotline 800-8477.


All incidents are under investigation.
