Impaired Driving

Around 4:50am on Saturday, Police attended a reported single vehicle damage only road traffic collision on Middle Road in Southampton near Granaway Lane. It appears that the car was traveling west on Middle Road when the driver lost control, causing the grey Mitsubishi Lancer to collide with a wall and overturn. The car was damaged in several areas; however the driver, a 27 year old Hamilton parish man, was not injured. He was subsequently arrested for suspicion of impaired driving.
