Impaired Driving

At 3:50 this morning, Police on mobile patrol on Middle Road in Devonshire observed a motorcycle turning on to Orange Valley Road without its headlight on. The officers caused the motorcycle to stop and spoke with the rider, a 22 year old Hamilton parish man. He was subsequently arrested for suspicion of impaired driving, taken to Hamilton Police Station and detained.
Theft
At 8:40am on Tuesday, Police received a report of a theft from a Jubilee Road, Devonshire residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 9am and 10:30am on Sunday, an unknown culprit removed a yellow & black ‘Poulan’ weed eater from her yard. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
