Around 3:50 this morning, Police on mobile patrol traveling east on Watford Bridge were flagged down by three men who reported they were assaulted by two men on motorcycles. The victims, a 27 year old Sandy’s parish man, a 32 year old Sandy’s parish man and a 36 year old Sandy’s parish man stated that they were walking out of Dockyard when they were approached by two men riding separate motorcycles. The men were verbally abusive to the three victims before physically attacking them. As a result, the victims sustained minor injuries (cuts & bruises) and were taken to KEMH for treatment. The suspects stole a black wallet containing $80 in cash and a Wenger watch during the assault before making good their escape. Police searched the surrounding area for the suspects without success; however, the wallet was recovered and returned, minus the $80 in cash. The suspects are described as a black male of slim build wearing a red shirt, and a black male of stocky/heavy build wearing a blue shirt; both men are believed to be in their early 20s. Both men were also riding black motorcycles. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
